Isla Del Sol is the “Island of the Sun” which overlooks the azure waters of Boca Ciega Bay. It is situated between the southern tip of St. Petersburg and St. Pete Beach. Tampa International Airport, via Interstate 275 North, is 35 minutes away. Attractions which many people travel thousands of miles to see, such as Busch Gardens and Disney World, are within close proximity. The top–rated Fort DeSoto Park with camping, picnic and beach facilities is right next door. Concerts, theatre and a variety of cultural events abound in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Sarasota and neighboring communities. We enjoy a twenty minute walk over the drawbridge to St. Pete Beach.
Our two bedroom condominium is located on the third floor of Casa Del Mar located at 6177 Sun Boulevard.We have elevator axis as well stairs to the condo, with covered auto parking. We enjoy lovely views of Boca Ciega Bay with the many dolphins and boats that travel on this intracoastal waterway. We have access to a pool and hot tub in our complex as well as a game room, and laundry facilities. The island has a Village Shopping Area with restaurants and gift shops.
A golf course is the centerpiece of Isla del Sol. Lush, green fairways, palms, shrubs and beautiful flower beds through out create a pleasing and tranquil setting. Ponds and lagoons attract a variety of bird life.
